Pine body guitar baptized in the Mediterranean Sun!
It’s time for this wild Jerusalem pine guitar to leave the workshop to Wenatchee WA.
The Sonic Wonder has a unique pickup configuration with a four position switch.The neck pickup works as a humbucker . It also works with the bridge both in series and in parallel, so it “soothes” the “ice picking” tone of the classic T-style bridge pickup. However since these are lipstick coils it is a bright humbucker.
As always , all the hardware parts were made from bell brass, with the unique lipstick humbuckers. The neck is salvaged lightweight Mediterranean Cypress,with wild rosewood fingerboard.
